Steal of a Deal!!!
I love bargains! I hate paying full price if there is anyway to to pay less (if you know me I usually carry an arsenal of coupons/deals on my phone). I was grocery shopping with my mom tonight and saw this super cute white square pedestal cake stand. Typically glass and stoneware items are a lot more expensive at grocery stores because you're paying for the convience. BUT, this sucker was marked down 50%!!! Originally $20 down to $10...perfect! I went to pick it up and up came the plate, down stayed the base. The little beauty was broken!! I took it to the cash register anyways to see if I could get a bigger discount, all it would need was some heavy duty super glue (which my mom already had). I was expecting maybe a dollar or two off, but they sold it to me for $2.25 with tax!!! Yes you heart me, a stinkin' toonie!! If that isn't a deal, I don't know what is! A quick application of "Gorilla Super Glue" and this sucker is as good as new! Can't wait to load it with some sweet treats.
